There are lots of writing related activities coming up this fall.

Here are a few of the opportunities/events we're aware of but feel free to add to the list:

2014 All-Iowa Writers' Conference in Montezuma Iowa (Saturday, September 20)

Wally Lamb at the Des Moines Public Library (Tuesday, September 30)

Iowa City Book Festival (October 2-5)

Iowa Author Awards Dinner (Saturday, November 8)

Wonder of Words Festival (November 10-14)

Summer's End

The Iowa State Fair is over and the kids are back in school. In fact, some schools started before the State Fair was over. 

What did you do this summer? On the writing front that is...

There were several author events. Did you attend one of those? 

Local booksignings and visits by national authors? 

Library events? 

Writing workshops? 

Conferences? 

Or maybe this summer was your time to buckle down and finish that book? 

Regardless of what you did this summer, we hope you found time to fill up the pages or to refill the well.
